“Em, Em,” Lily pulls on her friends arm. “Look. He has a tattoo.”
Emma looks around, and follows Lily’s point to find a Gryffindor lion on the inside of James’s forearm. It’s roaring impressively,…
That is completely ok with me. ;)
"It’s James…" Lily whispered breathlessly, as she gazed in to the reflection of the mirror of Erised.
"Look, you say we had something but we were strangers, and we were drunk-"
"And we had the best night of our lives, Evans. I thought it was something. Maybe I was wrong, but you can’t run forever, Lily. You can’t."
She exhaled, “Watch me.”

It’s been fourteen years, and still not a day goes by that I don’t miss your dad.
It was a long summer, and all Harry asked – and he didn’t think it was much – was that he was allowed to wallow in peace. Letting his parents know about Ginny, and Dean, had been a colossal mistake, as it turned out. Now they either wanted to talk about it or distract him, and Harry had no intention of doing either. He just wanted to lie on his bed and feel sorry for himself, and try not to think about Ginny and Dean having a great summer together.
The invitation to a friend’s gathering, when it came, was a blessing in disguise. “You can come, you know,” his mother said, and he almost fell over himself in his haste to say “I’m all right, thanks”; finally, some hours of uninterrupted wallowing were in his reach. Weirdly, he was looking forward to it.
“Right, well, we’re off,” said James, sticking his head around the door of the living room, where Harry had set up for the day. “You’re all right to stay here sulking, aren’t you?”
“I’m not sulking,” Harry said sulkily.
