"Look, you say we had something but we were strangers, and we were drunk-"
"And we had the best night of our lives, Evans. I thought it was something. Maybe I was wrong, but you can’t run forever, Lily. You can’t."
She exhaled, “Watch me.”
“Jily and number 17, ”Meeting at a party whilst drunk au.” For ladyofhousestark
It’s been fourteen years, and still not a day goes by that I don’t miss your dad.
It was a long summer, and all Harry asked – and he didn’t think it was much – was that he was allowed to wallow in peace. Letting his parents know about Ginny, and Dean, had been a colossal mistake, as it turned out. Now they either wanted to talk about it or distract him, and Harry had no intention of doing either. He just wanted to lie on his bed and feel sorry for himself, and try not to think about Ginny and Dean having a great summer together.
The invitation to a friend’s gathering, when it came, was a blessing in disguise. “You can come, you know,” his mother said, and he almost fell over himself in his haste to say “I’m all right, thanks”; finally, some hours of uninterrupted wallowing were in his reach. Weirdly, he was looking forward to it.
“Right, well, we’re off,” said James, sticking his head around the door of the living room, where Harry had set up for the day. “You’re all right to stay here sulking, aren’t you?”
“I’m not sulking,” Harry said sulkily.
friendly reminder that JAMES AND LILY POTTER WERE 21 YEARS OLD WHEN THEY DIED ARE YOU CRYING I AM CRYING
James Potter and Lily Evans, the most epically funny, beautiful and tragic couple to ever have existed (Of course they were real!! What are you talking about?)
Drawing them has become my new obsession, just a warning, there will be more silly jily drawings to come ^^;
No but imagine lily having a down phase during the pregnancy and looking at herself in the mirror and going “I look like I swallowed a fucking watermelon” and James trying to cheer her up by tying his invisibility cloak around her stomach so that she’s just legs and a floating head and telling her that “you can’t even see the baby bump”
